Job DescriptionThe CT Technologist will work within the Radiology department, performing imaging procedures while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role requires a robust knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. The technologist will utilize expertise in CT imaging to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scans in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of imaging devices.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, managing their comfort and safety.
- Document procedures and patient data accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and communicate results to relevant parties.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist.
- BLS certification required.
- One year of experience in radiologic/imaging is required.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Active New York license required at the time of submission.
