Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex tax issues and provide valuable insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for clients.
- Develop tax strategies and provide tax advisory services to clients.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, staying updated on changes in tax legislation.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members in the tax department.
- Review and analyze financial statements to identify tax planning opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and respond to their tax-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Master's Degree preferred
- CPA required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
