Senior Tax Associate

Position Overview
The Senior Tax Associate is responsible for managing and delivering tax compliance and consulting services for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires strong technical tax knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to provide high-quality service and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and compliance issues.
- Research complex tax issues and develop strategies to address client needs and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide ongoing support throughout the tax compliance process.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide clients with accurate advice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Current CPA license or eligibility to obtain one is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
