• RN Supervisor, Surgery Department

  Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the unit utilizing quality and cost-effective patient care principles to including operations, staffing levels and employee relations. Collaborates with nursing leadership and education professionals to organize, implement and evaluate education programs (orientation, in-services, competencies, classroom, etc.) to facilitate skill development, competency and proficiency in standards of care for perioperative services, perioperative leadership, clinical staff and patients

Experience:

• Minimum of three year’s operating room experience as a registered nurse. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Proven teaching expertise preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room within one year of hire.
• Advance certifications per specialty preferred.
