Biomedical Sensors and Systems Analyst
The Opportunity:

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency ( DARPA ) is looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate to support the conceptualization, development, and execution of cutting-edge DARPA programs in the areas of advanced biomedical sensors and systems, medical devices, machine learning ( ML ) and artifi cia l intelligence ( AI ) for biomedical applications, physiological modeling, and digital twin technologies.

This role requires the candidate to provide technical expertise in ML and AI for biomedical applications, including time-series analysis, medical imaging, and predictive modeling. You'll support the development of physiological models and digital twin frameworks for personalized medicine and predictive healthcare. You'll c ond uct technical assessments of proposals, performers, and deliverables to ensure alignment with program goals and technical rigor, and monitor and evaluate the progress of funded research programs, providing feedback and recommendations to program managers. You'll identify emerging trends and opportunities in biomedical engineering, AI, and digital health to inform future program directions, and facilitate collaboration between DARPA, academic institutions, industry partners, and government stakeholders. You'll also prepare technical reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate program progress and outcomes.

You Have:
  • Experience with biomedical sensors, medical devices, and physiological modeling
  • Experience with ML and AI techniques
  • Experience with time-series analysis or medical imaging
  • Experience with digital twin technologies and their application in healthcare or biomedical research
  • Experience preparing technical reports and briefings for various audiences
  • Ability to evaluate complex technical concepts and provide actionable recommendations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting DARPA or other government R & D programs
  • Experience with the DoD research ecosystem and its unique challenges
  • Experience in systems biology, multi-scale modeling, or wearable or implantable medical technologies
  • Knowledge of regulatory considerations for medical devices, including FDA approval processes
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Doctorate degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
