Associate Litigation Attorney

Our growing law firm located in downtown Honolulu is seeking an Associate Attorney for general business-related civil litigation and some transactional work. This position is currently envisioned as entry-level (0-5 years), though experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

The role offers direct client interaction, courtroom experience, and opportunities to grow under the mentorship of experienced attorneys. Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct necessary legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution with support from senior attorneys.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment that values input and shared success.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice in Hawaii (or have Hawaii license pending).
• Must reside on Oahu and be able to commute to downtown Honolulu.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation will be based on experience, with adjustments made according to work ethic, productivity, and contributions to the firm.

• Monday to Friday
• 9 AM to 6 PM
