• Provide cardiothoracic and vascular surgical coverage in both inpatient and clinic settings
• Opportunity to perform complex procedures including vessel harvesting and CVOR cases
• Serve a community hospital with Penn State Health resources
Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: March 31, 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Schedule: Weekdays with shared call responsibilities
• Setting: Inpatient + clinic
• EMR: Cerner
• Privileges: Required (no temporary privileges available)
• Estimated Credentialing: 60-120 days
• Trauma Level: N/A
• Support Staff: 1 office staff
Requirements
• Board Certified or Eligible in Surgery - Cardiothoracic
• Active Pennsylvania license
• BLS certification
• Experience in cardiac thoracic surgery, CVOR, and vascular procedures
• Proficiency with endoscopic and vessel harvesting, including radial
Clinical Details
• Average 5 patients per shift
• Responsibilities include:
