Locums Cardiology Clinic + Call Missoula, MTWhy This Role

• Ongoing need until permanent providers are hired
• Flexible weekly scheduling with mix of clinic and call
• Light call burden, mostly phone-based, with minimal call-ins
Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
• Schedule: Weekly blocks, Monday 8a-Monday 7a; preference for 7-day stretches
• Patients per Shift: 9-12 clinic patients plus echo reading
• Beds in Department: 29
• Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
• EMR: Epic
• Support: RNs, MAs, APPs, office staff
• Trauma Level: II
• Admissions: No
Requirements
• Board Certified
• Active MT license or IMLC
• ACLS
• Clean malpractice and background
Clinical Details
• Inpatient & outpatient cardiology
• ICU consults
• Echo reading (clinic days: 10; call weekends: 8/day; dedicated echo days: 25/day)
• Call:
- Weeknights 5p-7a: triaged by hospitalists, minimal urgent echos - Weekends: 24-hour call, primarily phone with echo reads, inpatient rounds, consults, referral line
• Non-invasive preferred: Echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology
• No invasive/interventional or EP procedures required
• Must supervise APPs
Compensation
• Rates: Facility is accepting bids
