This position has a hybrid schedule and candidate must reside in Bexar County or the surrounding counties.
PRIMARY FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILTY
The Mobile Case Aide Coordinator provides oversight of the Transportation Request mailbox and assigns requests for Mobile Case Aide assistance between the Belong Mobile Case Aides. This position will oversee the Outlook calendars for all Mobile Case Aides to assist with coordinating assignments. This position will also serve as a part-time Mobile Case Aide by functioning as an assistant to staff and supervisors, including transportation and documentation of services provided. It also includes supervising visits between parents and children and providing various clerical functions. This position will be responsible for oversight and ensuring that fleet vehicles are clean and properly maintained. The position interacts frequently with regional personnel, community organizations, and Belong leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintains positive working relationship with external stakeholders.
- Coordinates Mobile Case Aides’ activities.
- Maintains efficient tracking reports in excel or similar software.
- Monitors the Mobile Case Aide referral email box and coordinates assignment of all travel requests.
- Works closely with the Operations Administrative Technician to over see general maintenance of fleet vehicles.
- Keeps all records, information, and client's names confidential.
- Provides transportation for clients to and from appointments as requested by caseworkers and/or Unit Supervisor.
- Completes appropriate forms and documentation concerning client contact including data entry into IMPACT and other agency systems.
- Maintain out-going paper and/or electronic appointment calendar for scheduling requests made by caseworkers/supervisor.
- Ensures all required training is completed on time and assesses the need for new training opportunities, including coordinating, scheduling and administering training.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Required:
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• One year full-time social services, clerical, secretarial, administrative support, general office, or FPS experience.
Preferred:
- 2 Years’ experience providing case management services for youth and families.
Registration or Licensure Requirements:
This position requires use of the applicant's personal motor vehicle to complete job functions.
Applicants for positions must have a reliable motor vehicle; an acceptable driving record for the past five years; a current, valid Texas driver's license appropriate for the vehicle and passenger or cargo load that applies to the job; and proof of insurance. Applicants must provide proof of driving record, insurance, and license.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (agency will provide).
- CPR and First Aid Instructor training certification (agency will provide).
- Other training as required.
Additional Information:
Mobile Case Aides may be required to work together with Belong Specialists aiding with children under SSCC Supervision. The position's responsibilities include helping the Belong Specialist monitor children and ensuring needs are met during their visits. This could require working outside of the normal work schedule. If so, overtime compensation may be earned.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION
- Body mobility to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, and walk (roll) to operate equipment.
- Moderate to heavy lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Must have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to give and receive verbal and written instructions (with or without hearing aids).
- Must have fine vision, sustained vision, and peripheral vision (with or without glasses).
- Environment requires dexterity to remain calm and adapt to fast paced and emotional environments consisting of children with moderate to severe emotional and psychological needs.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week but may necessitate additional time in order to complete assigned work, which would include evenings and weekends.
- Home-like settings with varying moderate to high degrees of background noise.
- Light and ventilation are found in a typical home setting.
- Campuses are smoke-free, except on permitted campuses in designated areas.
- Possible injury when lifting or moving if employee fails to use proper body mechanics, or if proper techniques are not used.
