Certified/Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) — Med Spa | Start ASAP

Locations: Cranford, NJ (one or both sites)
Schedule: Full-time (some evenings/Saturdays)
Compensation: $21–$26/hr DOE + commissions on retail/package sales, staff-rate treatments, and growth perks

Join a physician-led aesthetic practice as a CMA blending clinical excellence with concierge-level patient care. You’ll room patients, assist with procedures, run a smooth back office, and coordinate with the front desk to keep the day on time.

• Patient flow & rooming: vitals, health history updates, consent verification, standardized photography.
• Procedure support: tray/sterile setup, assisting the injector/RN, post-care education, room turnover (<5 min).
• Safety & professionalism: serve as a chaperone for sensitive exams; uphold draping, consent, and infection-control standards.
• Documentation: enter HPI/ROS, treatment details, supplies/lots, and post-care in DrChrono/OnPatient; send e-forms.
• Inventory & ordering: track toxins/fillers/num agents and disposables; maintain PAR levels and lot logs.
• Coordination: partner with front desk on scheduling blocks, follow-ups, and telehealth; handle patient messages.
• Patient experience: warm greetings, clear expectations, after-care instructions, and timely callbacks.

• CMA/MA credential or formal MA training (externship accepted); BLS/CPR current.
• Medical office or dermatology/med-spa experience (1+ year preferred).
• Comfort with EHRs (DrChrono a plus), digital forms, texting tools (e.g., Weave), and basic POS/payment workflows.
• Excellent bedside manner, attention to detail, and calm multitasking in a fast clinic.
• Ability to lift/turn rooms, stand for procedures, and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).

• Experience with facials/dermaplaning/peels or device platforms (laser/RF/microneedling).
• Retail or skincare counseling background (home-care plans, product attach).
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English or Portuguese/English).
