Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled medical doctor to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, manage medical treatments, and work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are also seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented medical doctor with expertise in workers' compensation to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to injured federal employees, ensuring compliance with the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) guidelines. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing work-related injuries, developing treatment plans, and supporting employees through their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments, diagnostic tests, and examinations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Prescribe and administer medication or treatments as needed.
Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in accordance with regulations.
Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on medical advancements.
Assess work-related injuries or illnesses, develop treatment plans, and provide necessary medical care.
Maintain detailed records of the injury or illness, including medical reports, to support workers' compensation claims.
Collaborate with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and proper claim processing.
Assist in the recovery process through physical therapy, counseling, or other necessary interventions.
Evaluate when employees are fit to return to work and recommend accommodations if needed.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of work-related injuries and illnesses.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Prepare thorough medical documentation, including diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and progress notes, to support workers' compensation claims.
Collaborate with claims examiners, employers, and rehabilitation teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Conduct return-to-work evaluations and recommend workplace accommodations when necessary.
Stay up-to-date with OWCP guidelines, policies, and protocols to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Valid medical license to practice.
Experience or knowledge in workers' compensation or occupational health is preferred.
Strong diagnostic, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
