Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and professional Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Work will be divided between  the two medical practices. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, surgical procedures, and office tasks. 

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Take vitals, interview patients, and document data in the EMR.
• Assist with post-operative follow-ups and ensure patient comfort.
• Surgical Assistance:
• Provide support during surgical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized operating room.
• Office and Administrative Tasks:
• Stock and prepare examination and operating rooms.
• Perform general office duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Certification: NYS Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory.
• Experience:
• Phlebotomy experience is essential.
• Medical and surgical experience preferred; willing to train in specific areas.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Professionalism and punctuality are non-negotiable.
• Dress Code: Strict adherence to the clinic’s professional appearance standards.
