Silverback Concrete strives to differentiate ourselves from our competition through the quality of our service. Project Managers play a large role in this effort during all phases of a project.
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall financial success of a project, coordination between our team and the General Contractor, internal reporting, document management, and more.
Qualifications:
• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
• Communication skills, verbal and written (Advanced)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate)
• Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects
• Ability to lead project teams and foster working relationships
• Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project
• Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project
• Proficiency in project scheduling/look-ahead planning
• Knowledge of self-perform and labor productivity
• Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
• Ability to understand document changes and impact to the project schedule
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
• High School Diploma or GED required – Bachelors in Construction Management, or similar, is preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience
• Valid and unrestricted drivers license required
• Must be able to lift at least to 50 pounds
• May require periods of travel • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
• Occasional activity: Job site visits

Job Planning Phase
o Coordinate with Preconstruction team to accept awarded projects and transition to the “active” phase.
o Review subcontracts with project team and confirm accuracy/compliance with proposals
o Create projects in Procore including drawings, budgets, SOV’s, etc. o Schedule and manage handoff/planning meetings with the field team to prepare for job mobilization.
o Assist field team in job logistics and material planning.
o Prep and submission of required project documentation (COI’s, RFI’s, submittals, etc.)
• Active Project Phase
o Review/approve weekly timesheets in Procore for submission to payroll o Assist field team with Procore usage for daily reports, timesheets, etc.
o Review drawing issuances and submit pricing when applicable.
o Understand project scope and budget in a manner that can be presented to the field team.
o Project/Cost Coding for all material, labor, and equipment invoices
o Monthly review of project financials/forecasting projected costs
o Monthly pay application submissions
o Creation and submission of change orders
o Visit job sites to assist/coordinate with field team and maintain understanding of project progress o Assist with quality control through checklists, site visits, and coordination with field team.
o Assist in development of site safety plans and monitor accurate execution.
• Miscellaneous
o Attend and participate in recurring meetings for construction division planning (3 Week LookAheads, Team Check In’s, Profit Reviews, etc.)
o Manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously
o Prompt communication (email, phone calls, etc.) both internal and external to the organization
o Develop and maintain relationships with clients (GC’s, subcontract labor, material suppliers) o Identify and communicate potential project risks o Maintain emotional intelligence in communication/negotiations
