Metal Roofing Technician

Stellar Roofing is seeking dedicated and skilled Roof Shingle Installer’s to join our growing team with experience working with Metal/Asphalt Roofs. This role involves the proper installation of roofing shingles on residential structures, ensuring waterproofing, durability, and aesthetic appeal. If you're familiar with shingling techniques, comfortable using air tools, and committed to safety and craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Roof Inspection:

Conduct thorough assessments of roofs to determine overall condition, identify damage, and specify necessary repairs or shingle replacements.

• Material Preparation:

Gather, organize, and prepare all tools and materials required for the project, including shingles, nails, hammers, safety equipment, ladders, and other necessary supplies.

• Shingle Installation:

Install roofing shingles according to manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and industry standards. Ensure shingles are properly aligned, spaced, and securely fastened for optimal durability and appearance.

• Roof Repair:

Replace damaged or worn shingles, repair leaks, and address structural issues to maintain the roof’s integrity and waterproofing.

• Weatherproofing & Waterproofing:

Apply underlayment, flashing, and sealants to create a weatherproof barrier that protects the roof and structure from water infiltration.

• Site Cleanup:

Remove debris, leftover materials, and waste from the job site to leave it clean, organized, and safe for future work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in shingle roofing installation on both residential buildings.
• Experience working with Metal/Asphalt Roofs.
• Familiarity with roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashing, and waterproofing membranes.
• Comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy materials (80 lbs or more), and using air-powered tools such as nailers.
• Ability to read and follow construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and craftsmanship.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
