Role Overview
We’re hiring a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our client base across New Jersey. You’ll sell both professional testing services and in-house testing solutions to organizations that drug test employees, clients, or students or need DNA testing for their clients. This is a high-impact role with strong earning potential and long-term growth.
Compensation Structure
- Base Salary: $40,000 annual draw against commission (paid biweekly)
- Grace Period: First 3 months are non-recoverable draw—no repayment required
- Commission:
- 25% of actual monthly revenue from new clients (first 6 months)
- 10% of actual monthly revenue thereafter
- 5% residual commission on additional services purchased by signed clients
- Commission Paid Biweekly based on verified monthly billing
- Uncapped earnings potential
Performance Checkpoints
- Month 1: Pipeline review + outreach strategy
- Month 2: Lead conversion analysis
- Month 3: Formal performance review + transition to recoverable draw
- Monthly/Quarterly: Sales volume, client retention, territory growth
Territory & Verticals
- Primary Territory: Union, Somerset, Middlesex, Essex Counties
- Target Verticals:
- DOT-regulated transportation and logistics companies
- Staffing and employment agencies
- Schools, youth programs, and educational institutions
- Substance abuse and behavioral health centers
- Construction, manufacturing, and skilled trades
- Healthcare providers and home health agencies
- Government contractors and municipal departments
- Legal practices – family law, immigration, probation
- Businesses / organizations that drug test
Qualifications
- Proven success in B2B outside sales
- Experience in healthcare, staffing, or compliance industries preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM tools required
- Self-starter with territory management experience
- Respect for compliance protocols and documentation standards
- Ability to tailor outreach across multiple verticals and client types
- Product and service training provided—no prior testing experience required
