Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team and support ongoing commercial and industrial projects in the Tampa/Lakeland area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, with proven experience working in industrial and large commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.

• Work with conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, switchgear, and motor controls.

• Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades to ensure project success.

• Follow and promote strict safety standards on all job sites.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Florida preferred, reciprocal accepted).

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in commercial or industrial projects.

• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industrial safety protocols.

• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting motor controls, transformers, and high/low voltage systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
