Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in real estate and construction to lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion. This role involves working closely with C-suite executives, senior stakeholders, and agile teams to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. You will play a critical role in ensuring project success while adhering to scope, budget, and timeline constraints. This is a long-term contract position based in Glen Allen, Virginia offering a hybrid work schedule of 3 days on site and 2 days remote weekly.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans to ensure alignment with executive sponsor and customer expectations.
• Define and communicate project roles, responsibilities, and objectives to all team members to ensure clarity and accountability.
• Collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to identify strategic solutions and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or issues.
• Prepare and deliver clear and concise status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build consensus across teams and organizations while developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Promote and enforce the use of project management best practices and methodologies to optimize project outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including agile groups, to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project execution.
• Conduct lessons-learned reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhance future project performance.
• Drive project success by effectively managing resources, timelines, and deliverables within defined constraints.
• Proven experience in project management within real estate and/or construction industries.• Strong knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tracking and reporting project progress, including risk management.
• Familiarity with budget planning and financial oversight in project management.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on building consensus and driving results.
