As a Plumbing Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving profitable growth by preparing accurate, competitive estimates, supporting project teams, and ensuring efficient execution of projects. What You’ll Do:

  • Drive success by achieving revenue goals through accurate estimating and value engineering.
  • Prepare and submit estimates for Plan & Spec, Design/Build, and negotiated at-risk projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with constructability, scheduling, and manpower needs.
  • Conduct cost analysis, risk reviews, and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor selection based on estimate requirements.
  • Provide support for procurement, scheduling, and job budgeting post-award.
  • Ensure proposals and estimates are completed on time, every time.
  • Audit job documents and provide insight into potential risks and project efficiencies.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience: 3-5 years in estimating, with at least 3 years in the Plumbing/Mechanical industry.

Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, scheduling software, and computerized estimating systems.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of plumbing/mechanical systems, drawings, and codes.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess job conditions, identify risks, and propose solutions.

Project Management Insight: Ability to work with project teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and construction schedules.

Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Commitment to Quality: Ensure projects meet the highest standards while maintaining cost efficiency.
