Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. As a NP or PA, you will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and catheterization as required.
  • Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in managing patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care practices.

Skills
Candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes, but is not limited to:

  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Meditech.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding.
  • Familiarity with specialties such as gastroenterology, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and pain management.
  • Competence in performing diagnostic evaluations and procedures.
  • Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to interpret vital signs and laboratory results.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
