ScheduleWednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9 PM - 7 AM (includes on-call rotation)
Job DescriptionThe CT Technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing various tasks related to patient care and imaging procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining the sterility of instruments, communicating effectively with patients and their families, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during imaging processes.
Responsibilities- Obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies according to established protocols.
- Maintain patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Verify patient identification and ensure availability of pertinent medical records.
- Observe patient conditions before and after contrast injections, reporting any sudden changes.
- Participate in inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist in performing routine imaging procedures and maintain cleanliness of the CT unit.
- Triage procedures and coordinate patient transport post-procedure.
- Communicate with departments regarding patient status and assist in emergency responses as needed.
- Maintain quality assurance and operational protocols for imaging equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from an accredited School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program.
- ARRT RT (R) certification.
- ARRT RT (CT) certification.
- New Jersey State X-Ray License.
- BLS Certification.
