Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) and School SLP credentials is needed to provide comprehensive services for students in a K-12 educational setting. This position is located in Grady, NM, and is contracted for the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include administering assessments to identify communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapy sessions tailored to student needs, collaborating with educators and parents, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state guidelines. The SLP will support students across all grade levels, ensuring improved communication skills to enhance academic and social success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid School SLP certification/license for the state
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably K-12
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state special education laws and regulations
