Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Telemetry

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.
• Floating policy: All nurses float to other units as needed.
Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET

• Pathways to Excellence Certified
• Certified Stroke Center
• Certified Chest Pain Center
• Level II Trauma Center

Requested Skill Set: Strong nursing background and knowledge, thorough assessment skills, attention to details and condition changes.
Must have: Positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, good communication and people skills, desire for excellence, accountability, ability to multitask, ability to deal with stressful situations.
Advanced skills needed: Telemetry rhythm interpretation
Procedures performed on unit: PICC line removal, vas cath/temp cath removal
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
