Job Description:
We are seeking a Water Meter Installer to join our team for a project in Comanche, TX. As a Water Meter Installer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient installation of water meters across residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a company that values hard work and dedication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Pre/Post Meter Readings:
- Use our specialized software to accurately document initial and final meter readings before and after installation.
- Conduct Meter Changeouts:
- Safely remove old water meters and install new ones, ensuring proper activation and functionality.
- Yard-to-Yard Installations:
- Move from property to property to perform installations, maintaining a high standard of work quality and efficiency.
- Communication:
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the installation process.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Physical Fitness:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems preferred, but not required.
Tech Savvy:
- Comfortable using software applications for data entry and record-keeping.
Reliable Transportation:
- Must have dependable transportation to travel to different job sites.
Compensation:
- Hourly Wage: $25/hr
- Performance Bonus: Potential earnings up to $40/hr based on productivity.
Project Duration:
- Comanche, TX Project: 4 months
- Subsequent Project: Open to Travel for future project - 14 months
