Senior Transaction Manager - Healthcare Job ID 240307 Posted 29-Sep-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Transaction Management Location(s) Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Senior Transaction Manager - Healthcare, you will manage a team that is focused on acquisitions and dispositions of property and associated land use projects for a large healthcare client’s portfolio. Transactions include surplus asset dispositions, land and medical office building (MOB) acquisitions and dispositions, ground leases, and real estate donations. The Senior Transaction Manager also directs land-related initiatives such as parcel updates, easements, and zoning matters to support the organization’s strategic and operational goals. **What You’ll Do:** + Oversee the strategic disposition of surplus assets, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial targets. + Manage the acquisition and disposition of land and MOBs, including due diligence, financial modeling, and stakeholder communication while meeting the client’s requirements and timelines. + Structure and negotiate complex ground leases and development-related agreements. + Direct land-focused projects, including parcel adjustments, zoning changes, and easement negotiations. + Facilitate property donations in compliance with legal, tax, and governance requirements. + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. + Implement complex real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals. Assist with project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones. + Act as a landlord or seller agent and tenant or buyer agent and effectively negotiate the business terms and conditions. + Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker. This includes negotiating leases and lease amendments, monitoring lease expirations, and negotiating lease renewals in time. + Locate and acquire new properties to meet the client's requirements and timeline. + Review, evaluate, and interpret financial analysis templates. This includes book and cash flow projections, NPV or IRR financial analyses to enable clients to make more informed decisions. + Work closely with the company or client's Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance and Accounting teams to ensure integration between the service lines. + Prepare commission forecasts and vouchers, and track all savings results achieved on behalf of clients. + Monitor a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion; prepare reports and make presentations to relevant parties. + Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Real Estate salesperson license required. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. + Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Intermediate math skills. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
