This individual provides a wide variety of safety and security activities and services. The Security Officer II maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** High school or equivalent. **Preferred/Optional:** Post high school education with emphasis on security or law enforcement. Associate Degree in Protective Services. **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** Five years’ prior security officer experience or safety related background. **Preferred/Optional:** None **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._ **Minimum Required:** within 6 months of start date: State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid certification, awarded by the American Heart Association. Non-violent Crisis Intervention trained.
