Radiology Technologist – Direct Placement | Full-Time

 Needham, MA
 Sign-on Bonus up to $15,000 available

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team at a brand-new facility in Needham, MA. This is a full-time, direct placement opportunity to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a strong focus on patient safety, clear communication, and excellence in image quality. This role offers the chance to be part of a new team from the ground up, contributing to a supportive culture and high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate imaging requisitions, ensuring proper patient identification and exam appropriateness.
• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Provide clear explanations to patients and families, addressing questions about procedures and radiation exposure.
• Support patients’ physical and emotional needs, creating a safe and respectful environment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions; assist with maintaining operational readiness of imaging devices.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging results and patient satisfaction.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (required)
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current Massachusetts Radiographer License
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (required)
  • BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
