POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s revenue cycle, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, payment posting, and payor relations. This individual will lead strategy, process optimization, and compliance across multiple practices, ensuring efficient revenue capture and superior financial performance. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership, providers, and practice managers to develop scalable systems that support beBright’s growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Oversight:
• Develop and execute the overall RCM strategy, with a focus on centralization and scalability.
• Lead fee strategy and analytics to optimize pricing, payer contracts, and reimbursement outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations, as well as internal policies.
• Establish, track, and report on KPIs for claims, collections, A/R, and denials.
Due Diligence & Integrations:
• Oversee RCM integration for new acquisitions, including due diligence, transition planning, and compliance from day one.
• Lead practice evaluations to ensure operational and compliance standards before integration.
• Build integration paths that standardize billing, collections, and reporting across new and existing practices.
Revenue Cycle Centralization:
• Drive standardization of tools and processes to support a unified RCM structure.
• Oversee accurate and timely claim submission, payment posting, reconciliation, and follow-up.

• Ensure effective AR management, reducing days in AR and improving overall cash flow.
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to RCM teams, including managers, specialists, and practice administrators.
Financial Performance & Reporting:
• Partner with Finance to forecast, budget, and analyze revenue performance.
• Provide executive-level reporting on A/R aging, reimbursement trends, denial rates, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue capture and minimize leakage across all practices.
• Team with BI to ensure integrity of financial data and revenue recognition model
Process Improvement & Technology:
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in RCM functions.
• Direct the selection, implementation, and optimization of practice management and billing systems, including the rollout of a new PMS and emerging AI tools.
• Stay current with industry regulations, payer updates, and emerging best practices.
Team Development & Culture:
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing RCM team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of dental revenue cycle operations, including CDT coding, insurance claims, AR management, and compliance.
• Proven success in developing and executing RCM strategies that improve financial performance.
• Experience with practice management systems (e.g., Open Dental) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) credentials are highly desirable.
