Position Overview:

The Senior Partner Relationship Manager leads strategic engagement with key partners to ensure long-term growth, satisfaction, and retention. This role goes beyond day-to-day support to focus on strategic planning, value delivery, and business expansion. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior Partner Relationship Manager proactively anticipates client needs, drives adoption of solutions, facilitates professional learning, and identifies opportunities for growth and innovation. They serve as a liaison between partners and internal teams, influencing product development, marketing initiatives, and service enhancements to strengthen partner relationships.

This positions MUST be located in the central region of Alabama.


Essential Job Functions:
  • Build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with high-value clients and system administrators including at the state, regional, and local education levels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, understanding their evolving goals, challenges, and success metrics.
  • Develop account growth plans, including upsell and cross-sell strategies, renewal preparation, and expansion opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to measure outcomes, identify opportunities, and align goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, support) to ensure alignment and delivery of value.
  • Analyze partner engagement, adoption, and ROI data to make strategic recommendations.
  • Anticipate risks and develop proactive strategies to improve retention and partner satisfaction.
  • Lead or facilitate training, workshops, and presentations to drive adoption and maximize partner success.
  • Regularly document client interactions into CRM system.
  • Stay informed on new product features and key developments in the industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and with 7+ years of experience in education (school counseling, career coaching, teaching, etc.).
  • Experience in account management, partner success, or client relationship management, a plus.
  • Ability to travel throughout the state of Alabama on a regular basis to schools, districts, colleges, regional centers, businesses, and to events.
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Career Advisor certification or ability to complete within six months.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) skills a plus.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

  • A Friend of Technology: Proficiently leverage and utilize data and technology systems, advanced internet research skills, networks, and emerging tools.
