This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to learn about the sales and marketing process within a busy arena environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing group sales inquiries and responding to potential client requests.
  • Help coordinate group ticket sales events and promotions.
  • Support the development of marketing materials aimed at group sales, including flyers, email campaigns, and social media posts.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential group sales opportunities and venues.
  • Participate in grassroots marketing initiatives to promote group sales.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align group sales strategies with overall marketing efforts.

Hours: Interns are expected to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate class schedules. Some evenings and weekends may be required, especially during special events.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales and marketing within the live entertainment industry.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Ability to engage positively with clients and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with a proactive attitude toward learning.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as required.
