Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform clinical procedures as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and patient families.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington (must be current and unrestricted).
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days/Mids, variable schedule).
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
