Software Developer I

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer with strong proficiency in Python and SQL to join our dynamic devops team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives as both in individual or team contributor and is passionate about building unique solutions in a fast-paced environment for Industial Infrastructure and Data Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications bases upon customer feedback.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• Python – Strong proficiency required
• SQL – Strong proficiency required

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Java – Experience with backend development
• JavaScript – Client-side development experience
• Front-End Frameworks – Familiarity with React or Angular
• UI/UX Implementation – Experience translating designs into functional interfaces

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Additional Compensation:

• End of Year Bonus (Discretionary, based upon individual contributions to profitability, target: 10% of base pay)
