CPA or equivalent accountant (Essex)

Seeking a CPA or an Accountant with equivalent experience and education. Specifically:

• The applicant will oversee and participate in maintaining the general ledgers for our clients. The ability to review, make correcting entries and understand the components of a general ledger are vital.
• The applicant will participate in preparing the income tax returns for our clients. The forms include 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041, and 990. It would be extremely helpful if the applicant had experience in dealing with issues with the IRS and other government agencies.
• If the applicant has only one of the above skills, then we would have only enough work for a part time or temporary applicant.

A face-to-face interview is a must, and we need to see a history of work experience.
We would prefer that an applicant is looking for a career and not just a job.
