Job Description
Area HomeCare & Family Services, Inc. provides non-medical, In-HomeCare services to low-income seniors and adults with disabilities, or chronic illnesses, throughout Rockingham County. Area HomeCare, founded in 1972, has many dedicated employees, some whom have been with the Agency for more than thirty years. Area HomeCare is currently seeking an Office Support staff member to join our home care team. The individual should be patient, empathetic, and have strong interpersonal skills. The position is phone-intensive, and the individual will be interacting directly with employees and clients, while organizing provider and client schedules. Prior office experience is welcome.
The ideal candidate will be available Monday - Friday from 10 am - 4 pm with some flexibility. This is an entry-level position with growth potential, and a high school education or equivalent is required. Employees working thirty or more hours weekly qualify for Holiday pay, and all employees accrue vacation and sick pay.
