Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy Location: Danville Regional Medical Center – Danville, VA Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Position Summary: Danville Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Endoscopy team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in GI procedures and demonstrate a commitment to patient safety, efficiency, and collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including preparation, monitoring, and recovery
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment setup
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-procedure care

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent endoscopy or procedural nursing experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
