TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The Critical Access Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. The Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents. The program provides rural acute care hospitals with a range of opportunities for service enhancement and quality of care improvement. Quality healthcare and patient safety is our goal. TMC Bonham is managed by Texoma Medical Center, subsidiary of UHS.
The Office Administrator provides administrative/secretarial support to the Executives of the hospital. Handles specific projects as directed by the administrative team. Acts as a
resource to physicians, and hospital departments and serves as liaison between Administration, medical staff and hospital departments including TMC Bonham
volunteers. Regularly analyze and improve processes so as to provide timely and effective customer and optimal support. Submits proposals and grants to
granting agencies. Assist with contract development for hospital, processing all agreements and leases and maintaining current up-to-date files. Responsible
for managing physician contracts and leases and service/vendor contracts by managing the contract databases and all associated files in orderly and accurate
manner. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative, poise and problem-solving skills. Must be flexible with variety of simultaneous
assignments and projects. Coordinates administrative support services for the Board of Trustees within parameters established by Administration, Board of
Trustees, and Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations. Coordinates Board of Trustees meetings, ensuring effective communication between board
members and Administration. Assumes responsibility of the volunteer services and plans, organizes, directs, and supervises volunteer programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field required. Master's Degree strongly preferred.
- Must have at least five (5) years of executive administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare
environment. Experience working for top senior executive as well as working with diverse senior management team
strongly preferred. - Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
Must be proficient in operating standard office equipment and computer software programs to include: Word, Excel,
Power Point and various data bases.
