Instructional Assistant

Day-to-day:

An educational services client of ours in looking for instructional assistants to join their growing team. These professionals will assist in teaching responsibilities, work with students individually and in small groups on academic/ developmentally appropriate activities, social interactions, communication, practice life skills and behavior management. Below is a list of day-to-day activities:

○ Monitor students

○ Preform lifting, positioning, and transferring techniques in accommodating students' needs

○ Monitor and assist students with all personal hygiene

○ Keep attendance records

○ Prepare, distribute and collect notes for guardians

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to understand basic educational terminology

Pay Rate:

$20/hour
