Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Marshfield, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about enhancing communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities for residents in a long-term care setting.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to assess, treat, and support residents with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Provide therapy sessions in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and outcomes
- Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing, and families
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
