Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience and an active IL OT license for a hospital-based acute and outpatient therapy role.
Responsibilities- Work in both acute care and outpatient therapy settings within a teaching hospital
- Day shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- On-call rotation every 7 weeks for coverage as needed
- May be required to float between acute care and outpatient departments
- Use of Epic EMR system for documentation
- Role includes providing occupational therapy for both acute and outpatient populations
- One holiday per year may be required
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
- Candidates must not reside within a 70-mile radius of the facility
- Clinicians may be required to complete OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start
- Clinicians must be clean shaven for FIT testing
- Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and are recorded on transcripts
- A 6-month break is required between travel assignments for returning travelers
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Current BLS and CPR certifications required
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- License required if applicable
