Part-time After School Care- WI Rapids

After School Care opportunities in Wisconsin Rapids! We currently have 4-5 openings available with our client—apply now to join a rewarding and supportive team! 

If you love working with kids, bringing energy and creativity and making a difference every day, this is the role for you!  This job is Monday-Friday with no nights or weekend hours.  We have opportunities in WI Rapids, Port Edwards, and Nekoosa schools.

Job duties include:

• Engage with club members through fun activities, games and learning opportunities
• Create a positive environment that supports youth development
• Encourage member participation
• Provide guidance and be a positive role model

Program Development & Implementation

• Run programs and activities for members and visitors
• Ensure programs are maintaining quality and safety standards
• Follow guidelines for grant-funded program activities
• Follow requirements for meal and snack programs

Supervision & Safety

• Keep the space clean, safe, and well-stocked
• Supervise a group of 15–25 members
• Manage member behavior and document any incidents
• Use member tracking software and input data as needed

Additional Responsibilities

• Help keep the facility clean
• Report supply or maintenance needs
• Participate in special events or programs
• May be asked to drive the Club van
• Take on other duties as needed

Pay: $10-15/hour

Schedule: Part Time after school, Monday-Friday; hours dependent upon need

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in working with children
• Knowledge of youth development
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
• Ability to work with the general public
• Valid State Drivers License preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Background check required for final candidates
