Job OverviewAct as crew leader and assist in receiving and delivering heavy materials and supplies.
Essential Functions- Act as leader worker and assist in moving wide variety of heavy materials and supplies (e.g., furniture, office and medical equipment).
- Monitor and assist in setting up and/or erecting material and equipment for special events (e.g., commencements, concerts, registrations, conferences and banquets).
- Prepare work schedules, maintain personnel, equipment and surplus material records.
- Operates moving truck in absence of Equipment Operator 1.
- Assist in general maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
High School Diploma or GED
Required Trainings/CertificationsValid driver's license with an acceptable record
Required ExperienceSix (6) months experience in moving or truck and lift operation
Ability to calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages
Ability to read and write common vocabulary
