The Residency/Fellowship Program Director (PD) is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Residency or Fellowship program coordinating collaboration with participants, faculty, and organizational leadership. The PD is responsible for tracking, completion, and enhancement of programmatic outcomes adhering to both accreditation standards and institutional policies. The PD will ensure that clinical and educational activities support the OSUWMC and department-specific mission, vision, and goals.
The Residency/Fellowship Program Director (PD) position is designed to improve education, mentoring, clinical services, patient outcomes, and value-based healthcare. The PD will collaborate with the Associate Director for Education and Professional Development, organizational leaders, academic partners, and accreditation bodies to support the development of participants based on programmatic goals; ensure accreditation standards are met, and adherence to financial resources. The PD will be responsible for quality assurance of all aspect of the program with particular focus on advancing participant development and faculty support.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation with a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Speech Language Pathology from a program at an accredited and approved college or university. Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Ohio. BLS certification.
