Job Title: Senior Tax Manager
Location: Morgantown, WV (Hybrid - Monday & Friday WFH)
Compensation: $135K-$155K + Bonus + Stock

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager with hands-on experience in oil and gas taxation to join our fast-growing, publicly traded company. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in bringing tax functions in-house, leveraging your technical expertise, and supporting a collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance for oil and gas operations in OH, PA, and WV.

• Lead efforts to transition tax processes in-house while improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Oversee tax accounting, including ASC 740 reporting.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tax guidance and strategy.

• Utilize Corum software, Concur, and advanced Excel for reporting, analysis, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in oil and gas taxation.

• Expertise with ASC 740, federal and state compliance, and tax planning.

• Strong Excel skills for complex modeling and reporting.

• Experience with Corum and Concur preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a hybrid, collaborative, fast-growing environment.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
