Job Details
Our organization is seeking a dynamic, experienced HR Director for our Manufacturing and Multi-Site Operations. This is a permanent position that plays a pivotal role in managing human resources across multiple sites and regions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food production, agriculture, or manufacturing. They will also have substantial experience in managing seasonal or temporary foreign workers in plant/labor environments, and will be well-versed in Canadian and U.S. labor laws. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and H-2A Program Oversight.
Responsibilities:
As the HR Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and practices that align with our business goals and objectives. You will manage talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent in the industry. You will also oversee the H-2A Program, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
Your role will also involve managing human resources across multiple regions and facilities, ensuring consistency in HR policies and practices. You will also be responsible for talent management, ensuring our employees have the necessary skills and capabilities to meet our business objectives.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A SHRM designation is preferred. They will also have a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in food production, agriculture, or manufacturing.
The candidate must have experience with ADP and a strong understanding of Canadian and U.S. labor laws. They must also have experience managing seasonal or temporary foreign workers in plant/labor environments.
The candidate should have a proven track record in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and H-2A Program Oversight. They should also have experience developing and implementing HR policies and practices across multiple regions and facilities.
The candidate should have excellent leadership skills, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Human Resources Management.
