We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Litigation Partner to join our esteemed legal team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in general business litigation to contribute to a highly respected legal firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex litigation matters, providing guidance on legal issues, and contributing to the firm's overall growth and development. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership, growth, and the ability to shape the firm's future direction.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including taking cases from inception through resolution.
2. Develop and execute litigation strategies with an eye towards minimizing risk and maximizing outcomes.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
5. Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of client service and satisfaction.
6. Contribute to the growth and development of the firm, including business development efforts and mentoring junior attorneys.
7. Stay abreast of current legislation, court rulings, and industry trends relevant to employment litigation.
9. Collaborate with other partners to set the strategic direction of the litigation department.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar of Georgia.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in general business litigation.
4. A portable book of business of $500,000-$60,000.
5. Proven track record of managing all phases of litigation to successful resolution.
6. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
10. Strong business development skills, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
11. Jury trial experience.
