We are seeking a strong Clinical Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. This permanent position will play a key role in providing leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all nursing operations, ensuring adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures.
2. Ensure excellence in quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
3. Work closely with the Medical Director to collaborate on all clinical matters
4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and conducting performance appraisals.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
6. Assist the administrator in the development of annual goals and objectives for the center.
7. Serve as a high visibility leader, professional mentor and role model.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is highly preferred
2. Current, unencumbered Connecticut RN license required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
4. RN experience in an ambulatory surgery setting is required.
5. RN experience in orthopedics in required.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of nursing professionals.
6. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
7. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
