Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (Locum)
Location: Duluth, MN
Assignment Duration: June 9 – Ongoing

Job Description:
A Minnesota Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment. The PA will support both clinic and call coverage, working alongside a dedicated surgical team in a Level 2 Trauma Center. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-supported environment with access to top-tier facilities and the EPIC EMR system.

Position Details:
Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery – PA
Facility Beds: 187
Daily Patient Volume: 10–15 patients

Schedule: Clinic + Call
Call Details:
Call Type: Beeper
Call Ratio: 1:3
Response Time: Within 30 minutes

Support Team:
2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
1 Medical Assistant (MA)
1 Office Staff

Requirements:
Active Physician Assistant license (Minnesota)
ACLS Certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
BLS Certification
DEA Registration

Credentialing:
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Technology:
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
