Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and advice to clients, ensuring their interests are protected.
• Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases from inception through conclusion.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to develop effective defense strategies and legal arguments.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and negotiations.
• Maintain current knowledge of changes and developments in the law through continuous study and attendance at professional seminars and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey (New Jersey State Bar).
• 0-3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, with a focus on civil litigation.
• Proven experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management.
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal issues clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to ethical legal conduct and maintaining client confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
