Child Care Provider

SUMMARY

The Child Care Provider is responsible for supporting and assisting the Teacher in planning and implementing an appropriate educational environment that fosters the cognitive, emotional, and physical growth of young children aged 3- 5.

• Assists in providing children with a diverse learning environment while ensuring varied experiences that will help them to develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Assists in planning for routines and transitions, so that they occur in a timely, predictable, and unrushed manner according to each child's needs.
• Adheres to The Leaguers code of conduct and Ethics Statement in the employee handbook.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CPR & First Aid Certified (training provided).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma preferred and/or 2 years of experience in a preschool setting.
• CDA Certification Desirable
