Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Senior Billing Representative (Patient Account Analyst) to work on-site in Houston, TX 77025.
Pay: $23-$30/hr. depending on experience
Location: Working on site in Houston, TX 77025
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Duration: 3+ months - W-2 Contract Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure authorizations are obtained in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide estimates to patients prior to the start of treatment.
- Scrub the DAR daily to ensure all scheduled patients have an active authorization on file.
- Assist with claims reimbursements for patients with grants.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree/GED
- Previous medical billing experience.
- Authorization experience.
- Familiarity with major payer portals.
- Oncology experience is a plus but not required.
