JOB DESCRIPTION
S Sub - Ultrasound
Full-time position (40 hours a week). The tech needs to be able to perform ultrasound and vascular exams. The majority of the exams are general, OB, small parts, venous, arterial, arterial duplex, carotids, venous reflux/insufficiency exams, abdominal duplex (portal/hepatic duplex), renal duplex, and pediatrics (appendix, pyloric and intussusception). Tech needs to be confident in performing these exams on their own because on the weekends they will be the only tech working that shift. Monday-Friday variable start times (8 am, 10 am, 12 pm or 1 pm). It is also every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and the hours for every other are Saturdays 3:30pm-12 am and Sundays 10a-6:30pm.
